Hello,
Welcome to the Sower of the Seed Blog. My name is Steven Harris. I was born in February, 1983. When I was four years old I was diagnosed with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Muscular dystrophies are genetic disorders characterized by progressive muscle wasting and weakness that begin with microscopic changes in the muscle. As muscles degenerate over time, muscle strength declines. The DMD disease is such an unpredictable disease that people born with it can show symptoms anytime during the life span. Fortunately or unfortunately I acquired the symptoms in my early life. I am about to tell you how this disease and physical disability gave me a chance to find out what life is all about. It gave me the opportunity to know how a person can have a physical inability and still be thankful to God for revealing His plan for my life.
