In this post, I found a lot of exciting scriptures on faith. I could bore you with my opinions on faith, but I’d rather just show you, through the word of God. So, if you take the time to read these three short chapters, you’ll have a greater grasp on faith and the unbelievable hope that everybody has the opportunity to choose.
Again, I’m unable to post the entire chapters, due to licensing and/or copyright issues. So please follow these links to Bible Gateway. There, you can choose whichever version of the Bible you care to use, the default version being New International Version (NIV).

Thoughts On Jesus: The Rock of Salvation
Friday, July 30, 2010
In this post , in the new testament, I’m gonna show you some things that Jesus said to Peter. I’ll also show you how this explains the mystery in the second book of Daniel. You’ll have to read this first scripture.
Matthew 16:13-18
Peter's Confession of ChristMost people think Jesus was referring to Peter as the rock, but he was referring to himself. Peter means “Rock”. Peter isn’t the ultimate rock, but one of many small ones. Jesus is the firm foundation. Remember that scripture that says the capstone? If you don’t remember it, I’ve included here42Jesus said to them,
13When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"
14They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
15"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"
16Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
17Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. 18And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Mathew 21:42-44
"Have you never read in the Scriptures:It’s like when you become a Christian, it can be humbling. Sometimes we need to be broken. But at least our broken pieces are on a firm foundation. Jesus, The Capstone.
" '”The stone the builders rejected
has become the capstone;
the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes]?
43"Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.”
If you read this chapter from the book of Daniel, you can tell the writer is speaking of Jesus and the millennial reign coming to fruition in the future. This is awesome and mind-blowing, because the book of Daniel was written way before Jesus even said these words,
Daniel 2:27-47
27 Daniel replied, "No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, 28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you lay on your bed are these:
29 "As you were lying there, O king, your mind turned to things to come, and the revealer of mysteries showed you what is going to happen. 30 As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than other living men, but so that you, O king, may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.
31 "You looked, O king, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. 32 The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. 34 While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were broken to pieces at the same time and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.
36 "This was the dream, and now we will interpret it to the king. 37 You, O king, are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; 38 in your hands he has placed mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds of the air. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.
39 "After you, another kingdom will rise, inferior to yours. Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth. 40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. 41 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.
44 "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45 This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces.
"The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and the interpretation is trustworthy."
46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering and incense be presented to him. 47 The king said to Daniel, "Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery."
I hope this revelation excites you and I’ll see you next time.

We Must Not Ever Forget
Saturday, July 24, 2010
I've heard there are people who believe the Holocaust didn't happen. I have some video here that shows that it did.
These six videos are really informative and shed light on the history of Israel that are often covered up or conveniently no talked about.
Next week, I plan on posting some videos on Israel's fulfilled prophecies. Until then, watch these and have a great week!

Thoughts On Jesus Being Our High Priest
Saturday, July 17, 2010
This post is about my thoughts on Jesus being our High Priest. This first quote may be a little rough, but I’ll show you how it’s good news if you take the time to read it.
Malachi 2:1-9
1 "And now this admonition is for you, O priests. 2 If you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name," says the LORD Almighty, "I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me.From reading that quote, you can tell the priest messed up big-time. But the good news is Jesus the Messiah came. He’s the perfect High Priest and He reverses the curse. If you have the patience to keep reading, you’ll find out how awesome it is. I really don’t have the words to express how wonderful it is.
3 "Because of you I will rebuke your descendants; I will spread on your faces the offal from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried off with it. 4 And you will know that I have sent you this admonition so that my covenant with Levi may continue," says the LORD Almighty. 5 "My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name. 6 True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin.
7 "For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction—because he is the messenger of the LORD Almighty. 8 But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi," says the LORD Almighty. 9 "So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law."
Hebrews 2:14-18
14Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. 16For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants. 17For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.Hebrews 4:14-16
Jesus the Great High PriestHebrews 5:1-10
14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. 3This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people.Hebrews 6:13-20
4No one takes this honor upon himself; he must be called by God, just as Aaron was. 5So Christ also did not take upon himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,
"You are my Son;
today I have become your Father. 6And he says in another place,
"You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek."
7During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
The Certainty of God's PromiseThe following are links to chapters that speak to this subject. Unfortunately, once again, I’m not able to post entire chapters do to licensing issues. These may seem like a lot of chapters to read. But they’re short chapters and shouldn’t take longer than watching a TV show. And remember, you have the option of having it read to you. It’s some really exciting stuff to read.
13When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, 14saying, "I will surely bless you and give you many descendants." 15And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.
16Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. 19We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 13:11-17
11The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. 12And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. 13Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. 14For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.
15Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name. 16And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. 17Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Jesus Prays
Friday, July 16, 2010
In this post, I’d like to share some of my thoughts on the scriptures where Jesus prays for us. But you’ll have to read the scripture first. It’s worth the effort.
John 17:6-26
Jesus Prays for His DisciplesHow awesome is it that Jesus actually prayed for us! You’d think Him being God, He’d leave it up to us to speak directly to Him. But He speaks to us and God on our behalf! Imagine, if Jesus loved us that much during His earthly ministry, it’s got to be unfathomable how much He loves us at the right hand of the Father in glory. You can guarantee if you’re going through a rough situation or even the strain of everyday life, His spirit is right there with you. He’s praying for you and He’s not going to leave your side. Even if you haven’t given Him your life that He created, He is praying that you will get to know Him and let His Holy Spirit guide your life. If you want His Holy guidance, all you have to do is confess that you’re a sinner and you need His help. Only the name of Jesus can save you and cleanse you of your sins, because only Jesus lived the perfect life and died as a replacement for the sins of every generation of the world. Oh yeah! Anybody can die on a cross, but only Jesus, son of God, can raise Himself up on the third day. Take a look for yourself and read the New Testament. Here’s a link to the Bible Gateway site, and really great source for those hungry for the word. I recommend the New International Version (NIV) or the New Living Translation (NLT), as the most accessible translations. Those links take you to every book of the Bible in that particular translation. You'll find the New Testament toward the bottom, starting with Mathew.
6"I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one. 12While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. 13"I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
Jesus Prays for All Believers
20"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."

Gifts of the Spirit
Saturday, July 10, 2010
In this post, I’ve put together all the scriptures concerning spiritual gifts: how they should operate and things of this nature. If you take the time to read it, it is very informative. They should really help you grasp a better understanding of the gifts of the spirit. It should be interesting if you’ve never studied them before. And it’s a good refresher, also. The gifts of the spirit are gifts from God, through the Holy Spirit, and a way to sustain a Godly attitude, especially as we live within an ungodly world. They can also be miracles and things only God can do, through His Son Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:20-27
20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that[i] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. 26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.Acts 8:16

Life by the Spirit
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. 19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

The Dangers of Sexual Immorality
Friday, July 9, 2010
In this post, I’m gonna talk about what most people try to avoid talking about: Sexual Immorality.
We live in a society that tends to belittle sexual promiscuity. It’s virtually everywhere. It’s in music lyrics, TV shows, movies, video games, books, commercials, billboards, and even cartoons. Did I miss anywhere? Probably. It’d be easier to list where it isn’t.
God never intended us to be so careless with the gift of sex. Yes! I said gift! It was meant for men and women after they get married. God ordained this for our own protection.
Read the scripture below, and I’ll write a little more after you’re done reading...
1 Corinthians 6:12-20
12”Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.In this passage, though Paul seems to be emphasizing sex with prostitutes, he is referring also to sexual immorality in general, which would include premarital sex and all the immoral sex that is rampant in our society.
Ok, back to my original point…this is for your own protection. If you have sex prior to marriage, it is more likely your marriage will end in divorce. Everybody knows divorce is painful and hurts people, especially when children are involved.
In general, our society can’t wait. Everything is instant. Including sex. People go on numerous dates with numerous partners, and the inclination to wait never crosses their mind. Next thing you know, they’re engaging in impersonal, empty, unloving, premarital sex. What kind of commitment does this show? People who live like this are only increasing their chances of having an unwanted pregnancy or getting a sexually transmitted disease.
Those who are steadfast, and remain pure, will be rewarded with heartfelt, meaningful, and most of all, loving sex. Also, if you’re willing to wait, it shows commitment, dedication, and that you truly love your future husband or wife.
Thankfully, Jesus forgives us when we mess up. Temptation is strong in our society, perhaps stronger than it’s ever been. And it’s easy to give in. But with Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, we can have the strength to overcome temptation and keep our temples pure.
I may not be a marriage expert, but here’s somebody who is. Jimmy Evans is a minister who teaches how to have a strong marriage and how to bring dying ones back to life. He and his wife were almost at the point of ending their marriage, but with God’s help, they were able to breathe new life into their relationship and now teach others how to do the same. They also share advice about Godly dating. For those interested, here's his website.
I hope this blog helps somebody and God bless…

4th of July, 2010
Saturday, July 3, 2010
I thought since tomorrow is the fourth of July, the day America celebrates its independence, I thought it would be good to put some music that reiterates the foundations of the US.
It's a lot more than just blowing things up. It's about the price paid for our freedom.
This country was founded on Christian values and we can't let those values be taken away or covered up. Let's just keep in mind it is our duty to vote for people who won't try to erode the things in our Constitution.
This post will include a video narrated by Orsen Wells, which tells the history of the song, Battle Hymn of the Republic. He's finally making up for all those people he scared during the War of the Worlds broadcast. LOL. After that, there's a wonderful rendition of the beloved song, which also shows the powerful lyrics.
Also, I have the Star-Spangled Banner done beautifully by The Isaacs.

Who Took My Wheels?
Friday, July 2, 2010
In this blog entry, I’m gonna tell you about my crazy week.
Last Friday night, my electric wheelchair stopped working. As I am utterly dependent on my wheelchair, you can understand how freaked out I was. Well, I was definitely freaked out for the first five minutes anyway. Then I realized there was nothing I could do. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a 24-hour wheelchair repair shop. And it being the beginning the weekend didn’t help either.
On Saturday morning, somebody from Cox Home Support came to take a look. However, all he was able to determine was he couldn’t fix it. He called the number in the manufacturer’s manual, and they told him they don’t have anybody there on the weekend. So I was going to be at least two days without my wheelchair. During those first two days, my electric wheelchair was basically just a 300 pound nonelectric wheelchair. Still, I was thankful I could at least stay in my chair to drink water and eat.
On Monday, first thing in the morning, my Dad took my wheelchair into the shop. Without my wheelchair, whether it’s running or not, I have no other way of sitting up comfortably and safely. So I had plenty of time, while I was basically confined to my bed, to lay there and reflect on all the people in the world who don’t have a wheelchair as nice and convenient as mine. With my wheelchair, I’m mobile and far more independent. It’s only when I’m forced to go without, do I realize how much I have to be thankful for.
Around 1:30 in the afternoon, I got my wheelchair back. I was more than a little excited to have it under me. However, after two minutes, it stopped working again. My mother fidgeted with the wires and was able to get it going. Obviously, the chair was not at 100% just yet. I still tried to manage, but ultimately it needed to go back to the shop. So, on Wednesday morning, my Dad took it back and they recalibrated the joystick.
We weren’t quite out of woods, because on Thursday morning, there was an error on the control panel that read malfunction in the motor on the left side. My brother, this time, messed with it and forced it into gear. Then, an hour later, while my brother was out grabbing a drink from the Quik Trip, I decided to take my usual stroll outside. Once I reached the end of the driveway, I heard an awful screech and my chair like a failing robot lurched to the side and died. Due to my condition, it’s not good for me to be exposed for any length of time to extreme heat or cold. Thankfully, there was a nice breeze on that particular day. Even with the breeze, it wasn’t gonna be good, if I was stranded there too long, underneath sun. So, giving it my all, I tried to attract someone with my feeble shouts for help. I’m not the loudest guy you’ll ever meet. When I go for these strolls, I like to play music on my mp3 player- aloud for all the world to hear. On this particular day, I had Disciple, a rather loud Christian rock band, playing, which I’m sure canceled out any attempt I might make to yell for help. I don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but that’s exactly what the neighbor was doing, except beating his drumset, which made it virtually impossible for anyone to hear me. So I prayed to the Lord that somebody might hear me. And then, about a minute later, another neighbor came out and got my Mom. At the same time, my brother pulled up. Between my Mom and my brother, the two of them were able to get my chair working again. Once we were inside, my Mom called the repair shop and described the problem and they determined that my chair would need one more part to be fully operational.
It’s Friday night now, and there hasn’t been anymore problems, thank the Lord. I give glory and praise to the Lord Jesus for getting me through this most difficult week.
This whole episode has reminded me that we should remember to pray for those less fortunate than us. Everybody, in some way, can benefit from prayer, and God’s help. In addition to prayer, there are other ways we can help. Ways you might not even think of. You can give money, or your time, or your unused goods, to those in need. The smallest sacrifice may make the biggest change in someone’s life. So don’t underestimate what you can do. But remember, it always starts and ends with prayer.
It is also important to give thanks for things you do have. I was very thankful for the time people took to help me out. I’m especially thankful for John, the technician, who was able to resurrect my chair from the dead, by reprogramming the control panel and putting in a hundred lines of code and all that other difficult things to make my chair right again- for the most part.
